Ok, so I hopped on the Vitamix bandwagon. I’ve been on the juicing kick for a while now, thanks to my lovely super star friend Kris Carr who sent me a juicer in the mail. I took it as a sign that I should start juicing already! I’ve had Vitamix envy for a while now, and hadn’t gotten around to convincing myself to go out and get one, when my birthday came along and a friend gave it to me as a gift! Super awesome gift of health! I’ve been making smoothies in the am, but this is my first venture into “blended and chopped food”. And you know what. . wo…crazy crazy crazy good!
Home made Guacamole.
You’ll Need
1 avocado
1/2 organic onion
1/2 lemon
1 table spoon olive juice (take it or leave it. .I get spicy olives from whole foods and they come in this awesome spicy juice that I mix in pretty much everything)
Now What
Chop avocado and onion
Put ingredients in vitamix
Squeeze lemon juice in vitamix
Add olive juice
Vitamix on “pulse” setting for a bit until it looks right.
Enjoy with a nice brand of tortilla chips!
